I know I'm a couple weeks late, but here are some pictures that I took of Owen on his 2mo. mark. ! He has been such a sweet baby, and we have loved having him in our family. Loving him has come so easily! We had a doctor's appointment yesterday and he is 24" tall(72.53%), weighs 13lbs, 14oz(67.48%) and has a big head at 16.3"(90.8%). He's sleeps for 6 hours, eats, then sleeps for 4 more hours at night. He loves to be swaddled(only when he is really tired), and loves to be held. aaaaaaaand He's starting to smile a ton more, Hallelujah!

November
I can't believe that November is nearly over! My goodness, the holiday
season is in full swing! We have had such a good month, and often forgot
our camera. Here's a recap in photos of what we've been busy doing.
There are SO many parks in this area!(Wayyy more than the two we had in Rexburg) So we often spend our Saturdays playing at different parks or going downtown.
Since Craig has a pass to ride all of the transportation lines in the Denver area, we ride the trains and buses a lot. Eli loves it, until he gets tired and wants to go home...
Free day at the Denver Zoo:
How we spend the majority of our days since Eli discovered his love of forts:
And last, but certainly NOT least... THANKSGIVING! Thanksgiving has always been my FAVORITE holiday so I was so excited that we'd have company to share it with! Paige got here late Tuesday.Eli loved having Paige here. She gave him lots of attention and it was
so nice to see her playing with him. It's been a while since it's been
just Paige and I. She was so sweet to my boys and I can't tell you how
many times we were laughing so hard that everyone in the room was
borderline uncomfortable. We're sisters... that's supposed to happen,
right?
On Wednesday, Spencer, Ashley, Carrie and Codan came. It was so fun to have them here too! Codan played and played with Eli and Eli wanted to do anything that Codan was doing. While they were here we played several games of Ticket to Ride, ate lots of yummy food, watched movies, went downtown, talked, and celebrated Ashley's birthday! I love looking forward to having company and actually having them here. It makes our days 100000 times more exciting!
I am so thankful for the family that came, and the family that we weren't able to see. We are so blessed!

Good morning!
This was the view that I got as I came down the stairs this morning after sleeping in:
a handsome baby-wearing man doing dishes! I love Saturday mornings.

Halloween Wrap-Up
Eli wasn't thrilled about his costume, but after we told him that he could get treats if he wore it, he was all about it! It was so fun hearing him say "trick or treat" and getting so excited over all the candy he got. We went to our ward's Trunk-or-Treat on Monday then went to Dan and Stacy's ward's on Halloween. So fun! Here are some pictures from the night...
He loves music and mail, so it was fun to get this singing card in the mail from Grandma. His face lights up every time he opens it.
And our sweet little Owen ready for bed swaddled and in his little monster sleeper. I could just eat him up, he's so dang cute!Happy belated Halloween!

Orange October
This weekend we had Uncle Dan, Aunt Stacy, David and Erin over to carve pumpkins. Eli wouldn't come near the pumpkin as Craig and David were cleaning out and carving them because he thought that the insides were "super gross" but he was happy with the end result.
I'm not the only one who has a hard time getting a real smile from my
child, right? We've been listening to a lot of giants games online and
watching them at Dan and Stacy's, so naturally Eli is becoming a Giant's
fan. He will walk around shouting "Go Giants!" as he does a few fist
pumps for emphasis. I tried to capture it, but this is all I got...
And there we have it... a genuine smile from our Eli.
Brother Love
If it takes longer than a couple of minutes for Craig or I to get to Owen when he cries, Eli often takes matters into his own hands...

Off to work
The past couple of days we have taken Craig to work and each morning Eli insists on helping by carrying dad's lunch even though "it's SO HEAVY!"
He drags it around the house then out to the car and then refuses to put it down even when he's in the car. then we have a mini melt-down when it's time for dad to leave because he wants to continue holding it.
