First Hike

A couple of weeks ago Craig and I took Eli out on a hike. Too bad he slept the whole time...

 We're trying to take advantage of the good weather while it's still here.

Growing, growing, growing!

I can hardly believe that Eli is one month old! He has already changed and grown so much, I can only imagine what the next few months and years(oh dear...) have in store for us! It has been an honor and blessing being his mom, I'm thankful to my Heavenly Father for giving him to us. There are times I feel inadequate, tired and overwhelmed--thankgoodness they are outweighed by feelings of happiness, gratitude, and love! We meant to take pictures today to celebrate, buuuut we didn't. So here are some others from the past week or so:

 These are pictures from his first "sink" bath. He loved it! It was so dang cute to watch him look around completely content! I sure hope this means that he'll like Grandma and Grandpa's pool!

Although his stone-face is cute, I'm looking forward to a smile!

(and I'm not talking about the involuntary smiles that he gives once in a while...)
