I am so extremely happy to say that I am completely finished with this semester! I don't think I've EVER had such a crazy three months, but I am sooooo happy to be done. The classes that I took really stretched me and I learned a lot about people and about myself and the things that I am capable of. YAY for being done! The countdown begins until Christmas... until then I am going to enjoy:
1. Time with my two main men...

2. WARM Rexburg. :)
3. The ability to read/watch/do WHATEVER I want.
4. Exercise
5. Doing absolutely nothing. :)

My Little Buddy

This fall semester has been a busy one for Kimi. She has a full load of classes plus she is managing the after school program at the elementary school for her internship. I am very proud of her working so hard to finish her degree. I have been working in the early morning and then spending all day with my little buddy Eli. I'll probably never have this much time with any of our future children, so I am trying to take full advantage of the time Eli and I have together. It has been so wonderful! He is nearly 13 months old now and so full of life, eager to learn, and so dang cute! I love my Eli Paul. Here are some pictures from our recent adventure in Kelly Canyon.

I carried Eli in the backpack for the majority of our hike but he insisted on walking some of the not so steep sections. The trail isn't quite as smooth as the floor at home or the sidewalks in town, so Eli had a fun time adjusting to the bumpy terrain.

The trail was quite dusty. Eli loved stomping his feet and watching the cloud of dust appear. He even stopped a couple times, squatted and patted the ground with his hands. Mix that with the drool that is almost always coming out of his mouth and you get one dirty little boy.

I loved being in the mountains with Eli and wish time could just stand still for a little while.

Eli is all about cars, or anything with wheels. He loves going on walks around town and pointing and shouting at all of the passing cars.

Eli is possibly the pickiest kid around, but he loves to eat broccoli!

MINNESOTA!

Before I get to our awesome trip to Minnesota here is a picture of our buff little Eli guy. He just loves to watch us mow the lawn, and he kept begging for a turn to try it out. He pushed the mower through the grass. He is a strong little fella, probably going to be a linebacker some day.

We had a splendid time visiting Kreg, Anna, Cecily, and Oliver Wagner in Minnesota. Here we are visiting Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis.

We really had a great relaxing time hanging out in a new place. Eli did get sick so we had to take him to the ER, but after a few days he was fine. Eli and Oli had a great time playing together. I am excited to see them grow up together.

Highlights from California

While Craig was finishing up finals last month, Eli and I flew out to California to spend time with my family and to earn a little extra money teaching swim lessons. Here are a few pictures from our trip. I stole the pictures from Anna's blog because I NEVER had my camera with me....so sorry if you've already seen them.

Eli LOVES anything with wheels on it. He will push suitcases, strollers, shopping carts, or bikes. You name it, he'll use anything and everything around. It was a little frustrating for Cecily though...

I have been so bad about tracking Eli's progress/milestones over the past year.

Lots of people told me to be careful about how many pictures I take, journal entries I write or blogposts I do because it will set a precedent for my other kids.

If I do less documentating with the next kids than I do with Eli... uh oh.

I don't want to forget some of the little things that he does that I LOVE... so here's a chuck-full post of some of my favorite pictures from the past couple of months. (California pictures will come tomorrow and Minnesota the day after that. promise. :))

He'll sleep anywhere. Craig and I decided to hike R mountain one day and it wore us all out!

Road Trip

Eli and I just got back from a short weekend trip to Utah. He slept the entire time down, but the trip back today wasn't as smooth. He cried off and on a lot. Finally, I decided we should stop at a gas station to fill up, change his bum, and let him burn some energy.

When in California, we were able to attend Laleinia and Alastair's wedding. Laleinia was one of my best friends in high school, so it was so fun to be able to see her so happy. She was a GLOWING, beautiful bride!

A week later, we were able to go down for Craig's sister's wedding. She,too, looked STUNNING! I didn't get very many pictures because Eli was so busy chatting and clapping during the whole ceremony, but it really was beautiful. We are so happy for Kristina, James and Keaton--they make a pretty cute family. :)

Soccer Game

A few weeks ago, we went with our neighbors, the Earls down to Salt Lake for a Real soccer game. We left Friday afternoon and drove to Milad to their cabin. In the living room there were all sorts of fun toys for kids... and Eli loved the mechanical horse!

And a few pictures from the game...

When we checked the weather, there was a 60% chance of rain and it was supposed to be pretty cold, so we dressed Eli accordingly. Once we got there, we didn't see a single cloud. Eli started the game with socks, shoes, pants, a jacket, a plain onsie under the "soccer" onsie, and a hat and left the game wearing LOTS of sunscreen, his hat, a plain onsie and his diaper. It was nice to have been surprised by WARM weather for once!

Soccer games aren't as mellow as baseball games, the fans were crazy! Actually, that soccer ball in the picture was given to the section of the stadium with the 'most energetic fans'.Poor Eli had the same reaction to the screaming fans as he did the train, but by the end of it we all got used to it.

When in Utah, Eli started army crawling and less than a week later he was using his legs. It's been so fun watching him learn and grow. It still takes me by surprise when I walk into a room after getting a drink of water or doing dishes in the kitchen to find Eli getting into anything and everything within his little reach.

Even if the living room is completely clean, he looks for obstacles.

I have LOVED being off track this semester. I swear there isn't anything better than being able to be home with my baby. But, at times it gets a little lonely... soooooo we have play dates when the weather is nice. :)

We had so much fun in California. We flew in on Monday(April 11) and Craig flew out on Saturday while Eli and I stayed for a few more days then DROVE out to Utah with my mom.

He just laughs and laughs when he gets on the swing it is so. dang. cute.

During the break between semesters, we were able to stop in Utah and California for a nice vacation! Over the next few days, we'll be posting pictures from the trip. We first stopped to visit Craig's family in Utah. Eli was introduced to the piano and he absolutely LOVED it.

The railroad lies in our backyard, and a couple of times each day a train goes by. I thought I would take Eli outside to get up close and personal, because little boys love trains, right? Well, as you can see I was wrong... very wrong. I haven't seen him more terrified. He screamed louder than I've ever heard him scream and he cried. I felt horrible. Poor lil' guy. Kimi came out to capture a cute father/son moment, but got this instead.

I can hardly believe Eli is 6 MONTHS OLD! My goodness, time has been flying! Some things about him:

-He's HUGE! We have his appointment this next week, so stats will be posted later. Last month we told our babysitter that he was 5 months, she flipped, becuase she thought that he was 8 or 9 months!(She doesn't speak English, and we don't speak Spanish... so we only talk about the basics things: how many dirty diapers, how long he slept, how much he drank, etc.)

-He has a long torso and short legs like his mama. He's wearing 9 mo. onsies, and 3-6 mo. pants. We got him a new toy last week, hoping that he'd love it as much as his cousin love his walker, but Eli's feet don't even TOUCH THE GROUND! haha

-He's SO smiley!

-He's so helpful. Somehow he knows when I need him to be content(homework needs to be done, dinner needs to be made, sanity needs to be kept intact, etc.). Here he is helping me bake cookies:

-He just cut his first tooth!

-He's starting to scoot. In random, unintentional directions.

-He is so easily entertained! He loves when we read books to him, tell him stories, or do anything completely ridiculous.

He just started eating rice cereal this week. Here's how it went:

It's obvious that he takes every move seriously, from the butterfly(towards the end, so make sure you watch the whole thing), freestyle, jazz hands, to my personal favorite the crank. This semester has been our busiest yet. I'm going to school and doing an afterschool practicum, and Craig is going to school and working. I feel like we NEVER get to spend time with each other, but strangely, I wouldn't change it. Obviously I would rather be able to stay home knowing that Craig has a stable job, but I know what we're doing right now is right. And the time that we get together is so limited, and has made me realize how lucky I am to have Craig...and my Eli.

I remember when I was pregnant, I often found myself saying, "I could care less what this baby looks like as long as he's happy. Even ugly babies are cute when they're happy."

Did I get what I prayed for?...

I got MORE... happy and cute!

FOR LIFE!

The kick off for the Relay for Life event in Rexburg is Next Thursday. It just so happens that one year ago in February, my dad, was diagnosed with Stage Four colon cancer. He was told that the chances of him living more than a year were very slim. Really "next to zero" slim.

This year I have a lot to be grateful for. My dad, after lots of hospital visits, 11 rounds of chemo, two major surgeries, horrible migraines, and lots of faith, prayers and family fasts, is back at work with clean scans. We are, as my mom says, "cautiously optimistic."

To show my gratitude and raise awareness, I want to put together a team for my dad! The Relay for Life kick-off event is Thrusday, Feb. 3, 2011 at the new Marriot Hotel in Rexburg at 7:00. There will be a few speakers, entertainment, a service project and registration.

Here's to STANDING UP TO CANCER! (if a baby can do it, so can we!)

Anybody who has a dvd they are willing to donate, or childrens toys, I'll be more than happy to take them off your hands.

What a year!

Before I get all mushy and reflective, here are pictures of our cute ELi at FOUR, yes, FOUR months!

Today is my birthday, so I thought it woud be appropriate to look back on this past year. :) 2010 has been a year to remember! There are so many things that have made my 21st year memorable. Overall, this past year has been one filled with lots of tears, sleepless nightslaughs, memories, love, family, blessings, prayers, friends, and miracles.

It's crazy to think that this time last year we didn't even know that we'd have a baby! But then again... there were a lot of things we weren't expecting.

This past year my testimony has grown. I know I have a Father in Heaven who is watching over me and my family members. The power of prayer is real. This year I have had the opportunity to really think about my life, the people in my life, and how much they mean to me. Although I'm not necessarily grateful for the hard things that I went through this year, I am so grateful for the lessons that I have learned as a result of them. I've been able to learn from my dad how gracious, strong, and kind we--as people--are capable of being despite our circumstances. The people around me--family members, neighbors, friends, ward members--have taught me how important we are to each other. I have seen how my parents have turned to the Lord without hesitation, and I have learned that I can be more like them. I have learned what it means to love a child of my own. This past year, I have learned to live with more gratitude.

A lot has happened the last couple of months and we haven't blogged one bit! Here we have a four generation picture of Eli with his Father, GrandFather Fisher, and his Great GrandFather Fisher. Eli was blessed in church on November 28. We loved having both sides of the family gather in payson for the special event.

Eli Paul with his Aunt Kristina! Kristina is getting married on the 22nd of April! We are happy for her and her soon to be created cute family.

We spend Christmas in California with the Wagner family and had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying each others company. We really enjoyed the little kids. Oli and Eli in their matching pj's! And Cecily!

Kimi and I got to get away for the afternoon and visit the Oakland temple where we were married. Thanks Aunt Paige for watching Eli!

Our little Eli is nearly four months old and getting bigger everyday! He recently has started to figure out how to use his hands. Here he is hanging out in his bumbo playing with his new firetruck. That's a brief glanc at the past couple of months. We'll try to update more frequently, but with both of us starting school on Wednesday I can't promise anything. :)

Eli loves to play with his little 'friends' aka the brightly colored mushroom, owl, racoon, and hedgehog hanging on his bouncer. He will stare at them for the longest time. He also loves to 'talk' to them. It is so cute!

Ha ha ha, this picture still makes me laugh everytime I see it! He apparently wasn't too fond of church a couple of Sundays ago. He had two nasty blowouts and soiled both of his outfits, so we had to take him home in just his diaper!

Our little man is growing up! Today he is two months old, so we thought we'd put up some pictures.

Eli loves his belly time, although most of the time he'd rather be on his back. He has, a few times, rolled over from his belly to his back. He is also getting really strong at holding his head up. go baby Eli!

Growing, growing, growing!

I can hardly believe that Eli is one month old! He has already changed and grown so much, I can only imagine what the next few months and years(oh dear...) have in store for us! It has been an honor and blessing being his mom, I'm thankful to my Heavenly Father for giving him to us. There are times I feel inadequate, tired and overwhelmed--thankgoodness they are outweighed by feelings of happiness, gratitude, and love! We meant to take pictures today to celebrate, buuuut we didn't. So here are some others from the past week or so:

These are pictures from his first "sink" bath. He loved it! It was so dang cute to watch him look around completely content! I sure hope this means that he'll like Grandma and Grandpa's pool!

Although his stone-face is cute, I'm looking forward to a smile!

Favorite things...

Eli is almost 3 weeks old! Yesterday we had an appointment at the doctor and his weight was 8.00lbs(22%) and his height was 21 inches(53%). We're starting to figure out what he does/doesn't like. Here are a few of his favorite things...

Sleep!

Bath Time!

(buuuut, He's only has sponge baths because his umbilical cord hadn't fallen off until recently...)

His bouncer. It really comes in handy when we want to sit down to eat meals or do homework!

His Carseat. Within 2 minutes he falls asleep everytime he's put in it. without fail. He loves his stroller and car rides!

During the first week, he wasn't eating very well, and had a minor case of jaundice. Solution: Tummy time in the sun! This particular day, we missed the sun while it was on the floor(barely), so Craig provided a puppet show for Eli instead!

The Moby Wrap! It sure makes doing homework a LOT easier.

ps... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MALLORY! We are so lucky to have you in our family! Feel free to come visit anytime... it's just a short little drive. :))

When my mom was here, Mark, Mallory, and Paige decided last minute to come up to visit. Craig's Birthday was on the 12th, so my mom made brownies and ice cream to have before they all left. Here are a few of pictures for your enjoyment...

Grandparents!

We were so lucky to have our parents come visit! My mom was able to come up Wednesday night(September 8th) and stayed until Tuesday(Sept. 14). She spoiled us! From dinners, diapers, and clothes, helping with bath time, appointments, walks, and relieving us in the wee hours of the night. It was so fun to have her here, and are looking forward to her visit in October!(crossing fingers...) (Eli and Grandma Wagner)
Craig's parents came up on Thursday(Sept. 16) to Saturday(Sept. 18). We are so happy that they are close and were able to come up. It was fun spending time with them, eating dinner with them, going to the park, and watching Eli with his grandparents. Grandma Fisher (this face is very typical of our little guy)

Our last prego picture of Kimi, just a couple weeks before Labor Day
Labor Day has a whole new meaning for Kimi and I. Kimi's water broke at 4:15am(talk about an exciting wake-up call!) I gathered up some things, we loaded up the car and headed down the road to Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg. Ten hours into labor(on Labor Day...ha ha, so ironic), Kimi was only at 2cm. After some discussion with the doctor, and the Lord we decided to have a c-section. Minutes after deciding on a c-section our little handsome man arrived. He was born on the 6th of September, 2010, at 2:57pm, weighing 7lbs. 2oz, and he is 21 inches long. We are so happy that he is here. Words cannot the describe our feelings and the joy we feel for having the privilage to raise him. We are excited about this new chapter of life.

I'm not really sure how it happened, or what made us ask, but our Landlord kindly gave us permission to paint the baby room. If you ask Craig, he'd say that I'm "nesting to the extreme," but I'd say it's fun. For our first time, I'd say we've done a preeetttty good job... I guess I don't realize how HUGE I am until I look at pictures of myself.

Tin Foil Dinners and Phase 10

The countdown has begun: we have 29 more days until our due date!
I'm getting so excited for our little guy to come, but I'm also trying to soak up every last bit of time that Craig and I have together before we have kids. I feel like this summer has been really busy, but I hear(correct me if I'm wrong...), that trips aren't as easy with kids. So, we've crammed a lot into this summer, and have been able to check a lot of things of our "to do" list.

Craig has said for months that he's wanted to go camping this summer, but because sleeping in a tent wouldn't be my idea of a good time(considering my circumstances), we compromised. I agreed to go out and have dinner, play games and have a fire in the mountains with him, if it meant that we could come back to Rexburg for the night. It ended up being a lot of fun, and something that I hope we'll do in the future. Craig got everything ready:the tin foil dinners, blankets, chairs, games, snacks, etc. The more I'm around him, the deeper and deeper I fall... :))

Back in the June we took some time off for a little family vacation in Mobile, Alabama to support Paige Nicole Wagner. She did such a great job at the national America's Junior Miss competition. Go Paige. We really had a great time watching and cheering for her and seeing a area of the country neither of us had ever been too. The heat and humidity was a bit unbareable, thank goodness for airconditioning! Our trip started out in New Orleans, Lousianna! Eating beignets at Cafe Du Monde with Uncle Mike and Aunt Cathy. They are waaaaayy yummy!

Good thing we don't eat them everyday!We checked out the dirty Mississippi River in downtown New Orleans. We stuck out feet in to cool down, then Kimi slipped and nearly fell all the way in! I grabed her arm and pulled her up saving her life...well saving her from getting completly soaked. :) We visited the Cathedral-Basilica of Saint Louis King of France too!We walked all around the French Quater and checked out the cool architecture and history of New Orleans, it was great!We then headed through Mississipi to the great state of Alabama. Here we are on the Gulf of Mexico on Dauphin Island.

We visited the USS Alabama in Mobile Bay. It was used during World War 2. It was very interesting and make us more grateful for those honorable men that served for our freedom.

Family Reunion

When my mom upgraded to a new phone, my sister and I kindly set all of her ring tones for her. Which song did we deem most appropriate for her calls, text messages, and voicemails? The one and only "I got it from my mama," by Will.I.Am. Why? Because this lady here......has so many positive qualities and attributes that I hope to inherit when I become a mother. (regardless of what the song says in the verses... we liked the chorus) Chances are(fingers crossed), I will become the same kind of mother to my kids as she was to Kreg, Mark, Paige and I. I hope one day when someone will ask for suggestions on how to teach and discipline their children, just as young mothers have asked my mom... I'll be able to say, "I got it from my mama."

I remember she didn't know how to adjust the volume or noise, so in the middle of church(sacrament meeting), her phone went off.

Not only was I blessed with such a great mom, I have been so lucky to have a patient and loving mother-in-law who has accepted me with open arms into her family.

Everything was beautiful, and the sealing was so sweet. Each time I spend time with them, I know how great they really are for each other.

MOM'S BIRHTDAY! (April 15)

Our 1st Anniversary!...and week long vacation over the break.

We spent our week in Moab, starting my first quilt for the baby in Payson, going to the last Jazz game(of the regular season), spending time with family, and enjoying a break from school and work!

We have a healthy(as far as they could tell) baby boy coming our way! I think we both kind of felt like the baby was going to be a boy, so we were delighted to see that our instincts were correct. We have yet to get anything for the baby, but that will come soon. We are excited that he will be so close to baby Oliver. I have a feeling they are already pretty good friends up in Heaven.

Craig's Dad's Birthday!

We left Craig's camera in Utah at his parent's house a couple of weeks ago, so we don't have any pictures right now. Eventually I'll post them. I diiiid find my camera charger today, so expect/hope to see some pictures soon.

We started our new callings as primary teachers today! Thosse young kids are such angles....well kinda. We had an interesting learning experience trying to teach them. One thing I definintly learned is that Kimi is great with kids and she'll make a great mom someday!

Elder Russell M. Nelso, an apostle, came to BYU-I this week and spoke to the student body. Kimi and I went and afterwards had the privilage of shaking his hand and talking to him for a little bit. it was a neat experience. There is a great spirit about that man, he really is an apostle!

This picture dosen't really show it, but Kimi walked to school with slightly damp hair, and some of here hair froze and turned white! She looked like an old lady with white hair. it was cool.

We got behind in our picture a day thingy, so we are trying to do better! A couple mornings ago we woke up to a crsip foggy day. When the fog cleared we saw a beautiful sight, all of the tree branches we're covered in a thin layer of white ice/snow. It made everything so pretty! This is a tree on campus.

I can't wait until Kimi and I can get a SUV or something with four wheel drive! Our little car had some trouble getting back to the main road after sledding, but we have good friends, so we made it out just fine. Thanks guys!

Some of my buddies built this sweet sled out of a plastic pallet and some skiis they found at the D.I.. Here we are using it as a wind block at the top of the hill. We took turns riding down a long steep hill. It was a blast! On the last run four of us piled onto it and we went down the hill. It was crazy, and I was on the bottom so I got a little squished when we hit some bumps, but we all survived and I am excited to go again some time!

There is indeed beauty all around. After church today Kimi and I went for a walk around Porter Park and caught the sun just before it set in the western sky. Before work Saturday Troy Earl, my friend from work, and I(Craig(yes Kimi got me to do the blogging today)) went out into the desert west of Rexburg and had fun target practicing. We had fun, Quaker Oats man, didn't.

We got a little behind in our picture taking and forgot to take a picture for Friday, so we decided to create 'Flashback Fridays'. Cool, uh? This is Papa Wagner and Craig at a King's game in Sacramento on Wednesday, December 30, 2009. The Kings lost to Philly, but they had fun watching Allen Iverson's sweet moves.

Growing up, Craig spent a ton of time in the Payson canyon and has talked about going there together since we started dating. The six of us(Craig's dad, Craig, His two sisters, and our nephew, Codon) went up tuesday evening. Even though it was just an overnighter, i'm so happy we went. I love love LOVE camping!

There are several excuses(lost camera cord, lazy...), but I think my number one is intimidation. I read all of the funny, adorable, and clever posts then never know what to write. Practice Honeymoon

Craig and I thought it would be fun to go camping for the memorial weekend to officially welcome summer and since Idaho has finally started to warm up, it would be the perfect weekend for an overnighter in the mountains. A little bit of backround: On Saturday one of the senior couples from Craig's mission came up from Pocatello and as we were telling them about our plans for the weekend, they said, "how about you go up and stay at our cabin up in Island park? It's not far from where you were planning to go in the first place." Craig and I liked the idea to say the least, despite their talk about bugs and clutter, so two days later we were on our way! Craig went to work Monday morning then came home and packed the car...

We were so excited when we got there, it looked like so much fun!

When we walked inside, we saw everything BUT bugs. My goodness, the place is 100 times nicer and BIGGER then our apartment. We were able to go bike riding, bbqing, and we were able to relax.

The cabin is located in a community right alongside Henry's Fork, a nice little river.
On our way home, we stopped by mesa falls. Too bad our camera died when we right when we were about to get a picture of both of us. This weekend was so much fun, we just wish we would've asked for more time off work...we look forward to the 7 week break when we get to go on our REAL honeymoon.

I feel so lucky and so blessed to have some beautiful women in my life, and want to wish them a very, very happy mother's day!

Fiiiirst and foremost, I want to wish a Happy mother's day to my lovely mother for all the time that she spent helping, talking and encouraging me. If I am even half the mother that she was to me to my kids, I will be a pretty dang good mom. :)

Then to my grandma Wagner and Grandma Baumgarten for teaching my parents to be kind and loving and for the way that they have spoiled and loved me...

Last but not least, to my new mother-in-law who has been so kind and welccoming to me annd who hass raised Craig to be the guy that he is--nice, kind, serving, loving...:)

Busy, Busy, Busy...

WE ARE MARRIED! AHHHH! It all feels so surreal as I sit here in on OUR couches in OUR cozy little apartment. We got into California last Thursday, April 9, 2009 and were busy bees all week. Craig was so good to help out with yardwork and babysitting while I helped clean and finish last minute wedding things. Although we were so busy, I was able to have a few little lunch dates with friends, pedicures and manicure with aunts, and a bridal shower on Saturday April 11. On wednesday I went to the temple for the first time which was really, really interesting and i'm anxious to go back, thank goodness i have a temple so close here in Rexy.

On Friday we went to SAN FRANCISCO for our bridal shoot where the lovely SUZY O took pictures for hours! I'm so glad she agreed to come out.. she did an amazing job and I'm anxious to get them back... check out her blog suzyophotography.blogspot.com for a little sneak peek at some of the photos to come!

Saturday came and went all too fast, but I am so thankful for the friends and family that came to support us. We feel so blessed and loved to know that several miles were traveled on our behalf! More pictures to come soon!

I will try my best to remember everything accurately and truthfully. It will be interesting to hear what Craig’s has to say and how they compare…
Important dates:

May 18, 2008 -I was wearing my new blue dress to church that Sunday. I sat down with Becca Mele, minding my own business when two boys sat on the other side of Becca. Becca started to talk to them, while I introduced myself to the kids that sat next to me. I looked over and saw the boys that were talking to Becca. I smiled, and after a brief introduction, the meeting began.

After the meeting, during the “linger longer,” Becca and I went outside, got our food, then sat down. We started talking, when the boys who were sitting by us came and sat down across from us. Conversation came easy during the 30 minutes that we talked and when the meal was winding down, some of the boys pulled out their phones to get out numbers … and at that time Craig conveniently pulled out his phone at the same time and snagged my number. Haha.

On our way to the car, Becca just simply said, “Kim, he was into you.” I had to think for a second so the information would register because nothing really stood out to me. “He got your number. Just your number. He didn’t bother getting mine like the other guys did, aaaaaand He was looking at you the whole time.” I honestly hadn’t really seen it coming…but to play it safe, and let him know that I could potentially be interested, I texted him later that night about an answer to a question that we had talked about. After texting for a good 2 minutes, he called due to frustration with technology and his lack of ability in the texting department, then asked me out on a date

May 24, 2009 (?)- The first time we hung out… he picked me up around 10, because I had been in Napa that weekend, and didn’t get back until 8ish. We went to a parking lot and he taught me how to drive stick. The whole time I thought he was trying to hold my hand, but he denies it. We went bowling after that. I won.

May sometime: I can’t remember the exact date, but this was when our first official date was. He made dinner—BBQ chicken, broccoli, French bread and watermelon—along with come of his work friends. We played board games, hula-hopped, and played a little bit of horse on the bball court. Haha…

June 1, 2009- Before he left to go to Chicago with his family for ten days, we decided to become “official.”

September 2, 2009-I met his family! Most embarrassing experience I have ever endured when I met his dad. The first impression that I made… we were kissing! I was so nervous to even stay with his family, because I didn’t know where our relationship was going to go at that point and for them to catch us kissing! My goodness…It was bad, but they were very kind and understanding to say the least.

December 26, 2008- He came to California for Christmas…well the day after Christmas because the weather in Idaho was so bad, he had to come a day late. I cried. And cried. He made is to California 24 hours late, but it was so good to see him, I didn’t care a single bit.

December 27, 2008- On the Golden Gate Bridge after a wonderful day spent in San Francisco, he proposed! It was the cutest thing ever—he was super nervous, despite talking about marriage for a solid 3 months before. He was shaking so bad that when it came time to actually put the ring on my finger, I had to say “wrong hand, wrong hand” he switched hands, and again I had to say “wrong finger, wrong finger.” My goodness, it was the cutest thing ever. I love him.

Important events/ memorable dates: (I had to cheat and look in my journal for these so I could get the initial thoughts that I had about each one)

First kiss- I can’t, for the life of me remember when it was in the sequence of our relationship? But it was sooner than either of us would like to admit…

Breakfasts at my house: After biking to my house, we had a luxurious meal of French toast without syrup and homemade lemonade

Dinner at his: Nearly every Sunday his cousin would make us dinner and for hours I would watch Craig play with his cousin's kids Hayden and Caroline. He is so cute when he plays with those little girls.
Nightly Walks… Lots of them. They are my favorite because they really give me time to find out what’s going on his in life, what makes him the guy he is today and what his hopes are for the future(not necessarily between him and I, but what he wants for himself and his future family, regardless of if it’s with me.) One of my Favorites happened when we had walked to McDonalds to get ice cream cones and the dining room was closed. The manager told us that we’d have to go through the drive through if we wanted anything…so we got ourselves some ice cream cones.(written on August 18, 08)

Double dates with Kreg and Anna… I remember one night we went putt putting at Funworks and if I remember correctly… I think Craig and I beat them.

Campfires… he came over on a Sunday and roasted marshmallows with my family and me. I love seeing him interact with my family.. he really is a nice guy. Haha I remember after the fire, we were sitting out by the pool…and we started kissing… then what do I see out of the corner of my eye? The House light? Yep! And who’s inside looking out? Mother? Yep! Ohhh my, I’ve never been so embarrassed in my life, but I couldn’t help but laugh and PRAY that she didn’t actually see us. (written on August 17, 2008)

Giants baseball game in San Francisco: (He requested that this story be included…word for word)After my family reunion, he picked me up in Napa, and then we drove to San Francisco. I remember mentioning in the car how expensive parking was and how to avoid such unnecessary costs…park in a farther away garage then take the Bart or Muni in. so as we entered San Francisco, I started to direct him around, thinking we’d find a garage on Market street. I remember he turned sooner… MUCH sooner. I believe it was Polk or Bush. Hah, yeah it was Polk and Bush. The FIRST garage that he saw he turned into, and when I say first, I mean FIRST. I started laughing because I thought he was joking but he wanted to prove that he could in fact find a garage on the street he chose to turn on. So… we walked. And walked. And walked. I felt like a pioneer. As we were walking down the street all I could think was “Oh myyy what have I gotten myself into. This is a verrry interesting side of town that I haven’t seen before.” I’m happy to say that I did make it out alive, even if creepo homeless men kept talking to me and looking at me like I was a piece of meat. Ew, gross. I get the heebie-jeebies every time I think about it. Once we actually got to the stadium, everything was good again. I got over the trek and decided to grin and bare it. The same was good… even if we lost… LAAAAAME that we gave away a game thanks to a pitcher who blew the game. (also written on the 18th of August)

So much has happened in such a “short” amount of time, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I love Craig Michael Fisher and the person that he is. and the person that I am when I’m with him.

His Story

Looking into the summer of 2008 my mind was full of a lot of uncertainties, but one thing was for sure: I felt good about moving to California to work for my cousin. I had no idea why it was where I was supposed to be, but it felt right, so my older brother, Spencer, and I packed up our things and headed west towards sunny California. I fell in love with the countryside of the central California right away. I knew, then, that this was going to be a great summer.
That first Sunday Spencer and I headed to the Fine Road Chapel in Modesto to attend singles ward. I remember walking into the chapel without a clue where to sit. I didn’t know anybody, but with some hesitation I sat down. I introduced myself to the girl next to me; her name was Becca Mele. She was friendly, and made me feel at home. Becca quickly introduced me to the girl next to her. I looked over and our eyes met for a brief second. I said, “Hi, my name is Craig.” She replied quickly, “Hey, I’m Kimi.” Then Sacrament meeting started and our conversation ended. Within thirty seconds I took another glance; that was followed shortly by a third, and a forth glance. There was something special about this Kimi girl.

The singles ward put on a dinner following church. Once again I had no clue where to sit, but to my surprise I vacant spot was available right across from Becca, and Kimi. I now, have no doubt a guiding hand led me to sit across from them. We ate, laughed, and then Kimi and I exchanged phone numbers. Kimi and I talked on the phone that night, then the next night, and the next and well, we’ve been talking ever since.

Looking back, now ten months later from when we met, I can’t help but smile in gratitude towards a loving Heavenly Father, who took the time to guide the lives of Kimi, and me, in paths that would one day cross. I love Kimberly Anne Wagner so, so very much. My love for her grows each and everyday. She really brightens up my life and I am truly happy being with her. The past ten months have been full of laughs, lots of fun, some struggles, and an awesome beginning to eternity.

Halloween 2008: We had such an incredible time dressing up as an old couple, ha! I will never forget hearing Kimi say, “Ohhh dear, I’ll be down in jus’ a sec, honey”, as she slowly made her way downstairs. She really looked like a cute old, little lady. I really loved grossing people out at the school dance as when we gave each other a kiss. Hahaha. I really enjoyed slow dancing with Kimi…on every song. It was fun to pretend to be old, and it was a good sneak peak of things to come.

Happy Valentine's Day

I thought it would be appropriate to pubilicly wish my cute fiance a Happy Valentine's Day since I can't be with him. (I'm in Utah playing with my mom and sister finding wedding things :) and he's in Idaho working)I am so very lucky to have him, but wish that we didn't have this strange tradition of being apart on Holidays.
